A full flavoured and rounded beer with a robust malt bill and a ‘West Coast style’ inspired hop bill. Biscuit and subtle caramel flavours balance an array of fresh pine, citrus and stone fruit aromas.

4.5% ABV – now pouring in cask in our pubs and beyond.

This beer takes its inspiration from American west coast style pales. The malt bill uses Munich malt and a hint (just a hint) of chocolate, which brings a little extra colour to the beer and adds a drop more complexity to the palette.

To dry hop the beer we used Chinook and Centennial, bringing classic fresh pine and grapefruit notes to the aroma, and Simcoe, providing subtle berries and the suggestion of passion fruit to back it up. We dry hopped at a relatively modest rate, placing focus on overall balance and drinkability.

To ferment the beer we used S-04 yeast, providing a clean and crisp finish and helping to marry the flavours of the hops and malt.

Available in cask only, and makes for a perfect accompaniment to a Sunday Roast with the family in the pub, or a catch up with old friends at the bar.

Malt: Maris Otter, Low Colour Maris Otter, Munich, Torrefied Wheat, Chocolate, Dextrin, Oats.

Hops: Mosaic, Ekuanot (kettle); Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe (dry)
