A soft and pillowy pale ale with a delightfully low ABV. Dry hopped with an old school pairing of Citra and Cascade hops for tropical and citrus flavours, balanced by subtle pine notes.

3.4% ABV – available now in cask in our pubs and beyond.

This beer sees the next phase of our experimentation with lower ABV dry hop pales, and we’re super excited about how they are developing.

We’ve tried to give this beer as much body and aroma as possible and so, for a humble 3.4% ABV beer, it really punches above its weight.

A hot mash full of soft pilsner malt, dextrin malt and oats, combined with a soft, chloride-heavy water profile and fermented with a Vermont style yeast strain, provides this beer with a soft and chewy foundation on which we’ve tried to build a satisfyingly juicy, layered hop profile.

We’ve also experimented with a low temperature hot side addition of Citra, Mosaic and Chinook leaf hops to really maximise the late hop character in the beer. Then post-fermentation, we’ve topped this up with a dry hop addition of two classic hop varieties: Citra and Cascade.

The result is a juicy and full bodied pale bursting with tropical and citrus flavours and balanced by subtle pine notes.
