West Coast pale brewed with our friends at Neon Raptor.

Classic Chinook hops pair with the ‘quintessential New Zealand’ hop Nelson Sauvin in both the kettle and dry hop, giving crushed gooseberry and grapefruit aromas. Vienna and Golden Promise malt produce a light malty backbone with hints of honey, almonds and hazelnuts.

4.9% ABV – available now in our pubs and beyond in cask.

Brewer notes

We welcomed Neon Raptor to our brewery for this one. And they came all the way from Sneinton to brew this Californian dinosaur of a beer!

We decided to go for a bold West Coast pale brewed with plenty of Chinook, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops. Balanced by sweet and robust Golden Promise and Vienna malts, then fermented with our house yeast culture for a classic crisp and clean finish. Notes of gooseberry, grapefruit and pine are backed up by sweet, biscuity flavours, followed by an assertive bitterness.

Malt: Golden Primrose, Vienna, Lager, Torrefied Wheat, Chocolate

Hops: Nelson Sauvin, Chinook, Citra

Yeast: Castle Rock House Culture
